About Halal Europe Guide
Halal Europe Guide started from a simple frustration: finding trustworthy halal food information while travelling in Europe is harder than it should be. Search results are full of outdated lists, invented addresses and sponsored "best of" rankings that say more about advertising budgets than about the food.
We do things differently. We publish only restaurants we can confirm by name and street address from public sources, we mark every listing with a verification badge so you know exactly what was checked, and we never invent phone numbers, opening hours or prices. If we couldn't verify a detail, we leave it out — and we always ask you to confirm halal status with the restaurant before visiting, because we don't claim formal halal certification for any venue.
The site is free for travellers and offers free basic listings for restaurants. In the future, restaurants will be able to buy featured listings (€19–49/month) with photos and priority placement — clearly marked as featured, so you always know what's paid and what's editorial.
We currently cover Berlin, Paris, London, Amsterdam and Madrid, with more European cities on the way. Spotted an error or a closed restaurant? Please tell us — corrections from readers keep the guide honest.
